Chairman

Educationist & former IAS Officer. Founder of the Baartalaap Educational Trust in 1985.

Mr. Arun Verma

Vice-Chairman

Retired IPS Officer & social activist. Oversees discipline, governance, and legal compliance.

Dr. Meera Sharma

Member Secretary (Ex-officio)

Principal of the school — serves as executive member of the committee ex-officio.

Treasurer

C.A. with 30 years of experience. Oversees school finances and endowment funds.

Prof. K. Raghavan

Academic Advisor

Former Dean, Delhi University. Guides curriculum policy and academic standards.

Parent Representative

Elected parent-member. Liaison between parent community and school governance.

Alumni Representative

Baartalaap Batch of 2000. Represents the alumni perspective in governance.

Mr. Rajan Nair

Infrastructure Member

Civil engineer. Oversees campus infrastructure, expansion, and maintenance planning.

Dr. Shanta Roy

Health & Welfare Member

MD, Public Health. Guides health policies, medical facilities, and student wellness.

Specialised Committees

Academic & Curriculum Committee

Meets quarterly to review curriculum delivery, exam schedules, and teaching quality. Recommends changes aligned with CBSE guidelines and NEP 2020. Members include the principal, all heads of departments, and two parent representatives.

Finance & Audit Committee

Reviews school budget, approves major expenditure, and ensures financial transparency. Annual audit report presented to the full managing committee. Chaired by the school Treasurer.

Discipline & Welfare Committee

Handles student disciplinary matters beyond classroom level. Also oversees anti-bullying policy, mental health initiatives, and the student grievance redressal system.

Infrastructure & Development Committee

Plans campus development, monitors construction quality, ensures safety compliance, and reviews annual maintenance budgets. Works with the Rajan Nair (Infrastructure Member).

Admissions Committee

Sets and reviews admissions policy annually, ensures compliance with RTE Act provisions, handles scholarship allocations, and reviews appeals.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

Constituted per the POSH Act, 2013. Ensures a safe, harassment-free environment for all staff and students. Meets on complaint or at minimum annually.
