Terms of Service
By creating a Baartalaap account, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Usernames may not impersonate other people, organizations, or Baartalaap itself.
Acceptable use
Don't use Baartalaap for spam, harassment, fraud, impersonation, threats, or illegal content. We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms, and act on reports through our moderation process.
Content
You retain ownership of what you send. Because eligible private messages are end-to-end encrypted, we generally cannot access their content — moderation of private chats relies on reports from participants, not server-side scanning.
Identity verification
Identity verification is optional. Submitting a document for verification means you consent to its review by authorized Verification Admins under our Privacy Policy; approval grants only a verification badge, never public disclosure of your document or ID number.
Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is scheduled with a 1-hour cancellation window, after which it proceeds automatically per our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated in-app.
